Overview
Headway is a Forex trading platform that allows users to manage accounts, track finances, and execute trades with confidence. We designed the product from scratch—from research and user flows to interface design and developer handoff.
Challenges
Trading tools are powerful but often overwhelming. The goal was to deliver a professional-grade platform that stays fast, clear, and easy to navigate—whether the user is a beginner or experienced trader.
Approach
I conducted user interviews, surveys, and competitor analysis to uncover user needs, then built user journeys and information architecture to define clear workflows. I developed low-fidelity wireframes to validate structure and interactions, created a scalable design system to standardize components and visuals, and delivered high-fidelity UI and prototypes refined through usability testing. Throughout the process, I collaborated closely with developers to ensure smooth implementation and consistency across the product.
UX Discovery
I mapped the end-to-end user journey to understand needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating insights into clear user flows that guide every interaction within the product. Low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes were created to visualize structure, layout, and interaction patterns, allowing rapid iteration and validation before moving into high-fidelity design. The process ensures that the product is intuitive, efficient, and aligned with real user expectations.

Developed a modular design system covering typography, colors, spacing, icons, and reusable components—ensuring a consistent experience and faster development cycles.
